About:

Dark cherry red coloured, this wine offers a complex bouquet of earthy blackberry, plum, spices, cherry and liquorice. Rich and elegant, it is well-balanced, with ripe and toasty tannins. Best served at 18°C with red meat, grilled meat and game. Also well suited for pasta, red sauces and rich cheeses.

"A nice value Bordeaux red with a merlot dominant. Cassis, plum, vanilla. Med tannins and acidity. Pleasant nose with distinctive French Terroir earthy aroma. Medium bodied with nice finish."

Since 1978, Château LAMOTHE has consistently produced distinctive, award-winning wines. They embody the essence of a philosophy: The quest of Expression. Each cuvée has its own personality, but they have in common to be uncommonly good values !

Where others go for more commercial styles, they make wines as nature intended: Genuine, harmonious with greater generosity and personality, thanks to a particular sense of personal commitment.

For 4 generations, it has remained a family company, while an attentive and experienced team contributes know-how in the vineyard, alongside the owners...
